  15. violations of hazardous-waste and clean-water laws, in
  16. connection with its operation of Colorado's Rocky Flats
  17. nuclear-weapons plant; in Denver. Rockwell admitted it stored
  18. wastes in containers that permitted pollutants to reach
  19. reservoirs supplying drinking water to nearby municipalities.
  20. The corporation has agreed to pay an $18.5 million fine, the
  21. second largest ever in an environmental-damage suit.
